Data Scientists GBP20.47 per hour INSIDE IR35 6 Month Contract with expected extension Full Time : 37 hours per week Hybrid : 1 to 2 days per week in either Newport, South Wales, Titchfield, Hampshire, Edinburgh or Darlington offices. My client are a large prestigious government organisation and are looking for Data Scientists to come and join their team on an initial 6 month basis, paying GBP20.47 per hour, Inside IR35. Essential requirements of role: Experience/knowledge of code and functions in a way that is reusable, fits best standards guidance, and are robustly unit tested. (Preferably in Python, Py Spark or R) Desirable experience within reproducible pipelines for systematic processing of statistical data. Data analytics and visualisation experience. Experience communicating key characteristics about data sources used within any project and how decisions taken on their use will have downstream impacts on data quality and suitability. Stakeholder management/engagement. Agile project knowledge. Team engagement skills. Excellent communicational skills both written and verbally. Successful candidates will be required to undergo SC Clearance, therefore applicants must of resided in the UK for a minimum of five out of the last five years, in order to undergo this level of security check.
