Location Remote,IL Description Our client, a global leader in the IT industry, is seeking to add a Data Reporting Analyst to their team. This is a 100% REMOTE role that will work from 8am-5pm M-F CST. We are seeking a candidate that has strong data entry, data cleansing, and analysis skills. This position starts as a 6-month contract but can lead to future extensions and full-time positions for top performers. The Data Reporting Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and entering 3rd party data into our client's internal systems as well as performing data quality checks, data cleansing, and light reporting. A strong proficiency with MS Excel is required due to the large data sets and your ability to organize the information using VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables. Key Areas of Responsibility Enter 3rd party data into company's internal systems. Use Excel to organize large data sets and complete ad hoc reports. Use MS Excel to create VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables. Provide reports and updates across different teams including Sellers, Business Partners, IT/Engineering Teams, and Sales. Maintain effective communications with all stakeholders Provide monthly progress reports to Partner and internal stakeholders. Provide comprehensive reporting both internally and externally on brand performance, category performance, industry trends, and market share. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in data analytics, statistics, math, accounting/finance, or other analytical fields. Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs & Pivot Tables). Comfortable performing in an individual contributor role that requires heavy data entry, working with large data sets, and spreadsheets daily. Previous experience working in the Technology or IT field preferred but not required. Familiarity in directing and maintaining enterprise-level sales proposals and contracts preferred, but not required.
