RevaComm is looking for a Data Architect to join our growing agile team. Data Architect will be responsible for architecting an efficient and scalable data infrastructure, database design, and developing standards and models for data architectures within a Federal enterprise. This role will design and implement data governance and security controls to ensure safe sharing and use. The Data Architect will also provide input into enterprise policies and standards for data management and use. Candidates must have expertise in data modeling, conversion, and validation, as well as data curation, and error handling. If You Join Us, You Will: Provides technical resources to design, test, and implement software code for data solutions and platforms Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data analysis and business intelligence Identifies technologies for data management, storage, and analytics Help lead enterprise adoption for big data Develop architecture and strategy for a security data lake Identify and solve design problems with cloud implementations Develop business use cases leveraging an enterprise data lake Perform vendor assessments and lead proof-of-concepts Overseeing end-to-end lifecycle management for data management product lines Our Ideal Candidates Are: Practioners of continuous improvement Cross-functional and willing to take on any challenge Knowledge experts of industry standards and best practices DevOps practitioners for continuous improvement and deployment of software solutions. Experienced with IT and Software Architecture and Systems Integrations Experienced in multiple object-oriented programming languages Highly experienced with implementing and using AWS or other similar cloud technologies Experienced in software development risks Able to maintain a high level of coding, testing, and engineering standards Able to be flexible and adaptable if changes in priorities occur Self-starters and fast-learners who are able to independently research and resolve issues using appropriate resources Comfortable working with multi-disciplinary, multicultural, and geographically dispersed teams Effective communicators who are able to communicate challenges and opportunities as well as explain technical concepts to the customer Committed to their own personal success, as well as success of their peers A team player Technologist at heart A technical mentor for junior and peer engineers Basic Technical Qualifications: 3+ years working on data architecture or similar role 10+ years with data engineering experience Knowledge and experience with data engineering, cloud platform technologies, and big data technologies Expertise in data platforms and technologies Strong expertise in data modeling, documentation, and governances tools and techniques Experience building and utilizing data lakes Experience developing cloud data solutions Strong knowledge and experience with relational databases and SQL Technical leadership skills Salary Range: Negotiable, Based on Experience Location: This position is remote. Relocation Expenses Not Covered
