Title: Data Analyst Location: Reston, VA; Washington, DC; Alexandria, VA Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph Responsibilities: As part of multidisciplinary team, work closely with managers, senior engineering staff, Solution Architects, and other clients to complete high profile, critical reporting services to corporate level management Understand the limitations and capabilities of the client's data visualization tools for reporting Orchestrate multi-source data integration and normalization to meet the requirements of executive level reporting Previous experience providing data analytic solutions to senior management Ability to lead complex client analytical work efforts and serve as an internal subject matter expert in designated line of business; leverages deep understanding of client or organizational drivers and maintains final accountability for client analytics and ad hoc reporting Proactively investigates and builds recommendations for enhancements or resolution regarding key drivers of benefit performance, trends, and obstacles in order to improve overall benefit and/or network performance and provide effective consultation to internal and external stakeholders Ability to communicate effectively and present complex data to a wide variety of audiences Requirements: Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of data analytics experience; 4 years of experience working with big data Experience leveraging Splunk and Tableau as both data sources and end user displays Previous experience providing data analytic solutions to senior management The ability to lead complex client analytical work efforts and serve as an internal SME in a designated line of business Must be able to communicate effectively and present complex data to a wide variety of audiences Experience developing and applying algorithms to unstructured data to uncover new sights Ability to turn unstructured data into structured data ready for analysis and report creation Ability to develop automation with data analysis tools and create customized searches and applications using programming and development expertise, including Java, Python, Shell scripting, and regular expression Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel and SharePoint; working with MS Access, SQL Server or Oracle databases, as well as Linux and Windows operating systems Skill with using scripting languages to automate tasks and manipulate data Familiarity with working in a large enterprise environment, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams Experience with integrating solutions in a multi-vendor environment, including SaaS environments An industry recognized data security or data analytics certification such as Cloudera Certified Associate, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, SAS Certified Big Data Professional Security+ certification preferred TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph Equal Opportunity Employer/Veteran/Disabled Job Posted by ApplicantPro
