The Cyber security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organisation's information systems and data. This role plays a crucial part in identifying and mitigating security risks and threats, safeguarding data integrity, and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information. Key Responsibilities: Continuously monitor the organisation's network, systems, and applications for security threats and vulnerabilities. Investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents. Identify and backss vulnerabilities in software, hardware, and infrastructure. Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and track progress. Lead or assist in incident response efforts, including containment, investigation, and recovery. Document all incident response activities for post incident analysis. Contribute to the development, implementation, and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Manage user access controls, including user account provisioning, deprovisioning, and permissions management. Monitor identity and access management systems. Promote security awareness throughout the organisation. Provide training and guidance to employees on best security practices. Analyse security logs, events, and alerts to detect unusual or suspicious activities. Conduct security backssments and risk evaluations.
