The ideal candidate will be responsible for working on a robust pipeline of sophisticated, innovative, and industry-leading litigation, including class actions, across a range of clients in the firm's industry verticals of technology, finance, life sciences, and energy. This role offers the opportunity to assume early and significant responsibility in managing all aspects of complex disputes and litigation, including direct client interaction, discovery management, depositions, court appearances, oral arguments, and mediations.Job Details:Responsibilities:Work on a pipeline of sophisticated litigation, including class actions, across various industry verticals.Manage all aspects of complex disputes and litigation, including direct client interaction.Manage discovery with the support of the firm's industry-leading eDiscovery, Analytics, and Litigation Support team.Take and defend depositions.Make court appearances and handle oral arguments at key hearings.Handle mediations.Requirements:3-5 years of litigation experience.Membership to the Oregon State Bar.Strong academic credentials.Excellent legal research abilities.Superb writing and oral communication skills.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to balance working independently while being a strong team member.Passionate, self-motivated, and proactive critical thinker.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Membership to the Oregon State Bar.Skills:Strong legal research abilities.Exceptional writing and oral communication skills.Ability to manage complex litigation matters.Proficiency in handling discovery processes.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Proactive critical thinking abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Job Location: Portland, ORBenefits Offered: The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including elective health benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
