Job Summary As an Oldcastle Customer Service Representative, you will work with internal and external customers to answer product, billing and delivery questions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This position is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing support, guidance, proper follow-up and resolution to customer inquiries or issues Take sales orders from sales representatives and customers, enter orders into the system for billing and delivery Assist customers with product questions, quotes, ordering, order tracking, complaints and problems Categorize, file, and maintain ship ticket copies for audit purposes and file all customer records Run credit card approvals and check approvals, retrieve needed information for the credit department Accurately process phoned, faxed and emailed quotes and orders in accordance with cut off times Document customer interactions and transactions Data entry of fax, email and phone orders for production Answer telephone promptly and transfer callers to appropriate departments Provide assistance to all co-workers when needed Requirements / Education / Experience Must be able to multi-task with high attention to detail Strong data entry ability with focus on detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent phone skills with the ability to listen attentively to customer needs and concerns Organized, self-starter with the ability to prioritized workload in a fast-paced office environment Ability to work in a team environment Must have computer experience and able to enter data High School diploma or GED or equivalent in related experience Basic math, organizational, and problem-solving skills Verbal and written communication skills Skilled in Microsoft Office suite Bilingual in Spanish a plus Preferences Ability to think independently while successfully functioning in a team environment, with a proven track record of contributing toward team goals What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs A diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
