Position Title: Custodian Position Type: Regular - Full-Time Position Location: Plover Appetizer Requisition ID: 28052 Major Duties Promote and adhere to company safety regulations. Uses cleaning agents, equipment and tools to clean office area, restrooms, lunchrooms, locker rooms and hallways. Collects and hauls trash to disposal area. Prepares rooms for meetings and breaks down rooms after meetings. Washes windows. Operates floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, rug shampoo equipment and other motor driven equipment. Ability to strip and wax floors on off hours. Assist with snow removal and other groundskeeping duties as assigned. Perform locker cleanouts bi-annually. Always promotes job safety. Understands the concepts and participants in the techniques of the quality process. Keep work area clean, neat, organized, and orderly including the custodian closets. Performs other duties as assigned by supervision Scope of Authority All employees have the right to question or refuse a work-related directive that is unsafe. All employees are expected to take appropriate measures regarding employee, product, or equipment safety. Physical Demand Constant: use and movement of hands and standing on regularly scheduled shift. Frequently: Bending, grasping of hands, and reaching for up to 6 -8 hours daily.
