Dublin School, an intentionally small 9-12 co-ed college preparatory boarding school located in beautiful, rural southwestern NH, seeks to add a part-time or full-time member to the custodial team. The successful applicant will be an energetic self-starter that can communicate effectively with adults and adolescents. You must be able to lift 50 + pounds and have a valid driver's license. We love seeing your face, but if you need to leave early to get to your band practice or gym classes, do your thing. An international team of talented and engaged people from different cultural backgrounds and locations. This is all we ask in return... Under general supervision from the Head of Housekeeping, perform a variety of skilled or semi-skilled housekeeping tasks designed to provide and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy living and working environment for facility users, guests, and staff. Glass cleaning mops and squeegees. Perform tasks related to cleaning carpeted floors, concrete floors, vinyl floors, wood floors, tile floors, and rubber floors. Perform tasks related to the maintenance of floors and other surfaces including spot cleaning, extraction, vacuuming, mopping, washing, scrubbing, scraping, and buffing. Including the application of water-based urethane finishes. Dust or clean other surfaces including doors, glass, windows, walls, counters, chairs, and benches. Operate and provide operator maintenance for automatic scrubbers, power sweepers, vacuums, and buffers used in connection with building cleaning. Use approved methods and formulas to mix cleaning chemicals for application. Store and dispose of chemicals according to approved guidelines. Respond to housekeeping calls and/or requests for service as needed. Report any items that require maintenance/repair. Perform other duties as assigned.
