Responsibilities Maintains patient safety. Transportation of patients to and from the department. Handling telephone scheduling of inpatients and outpatients. Responsible for calling the physician with the report of the exam. Must be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluid. Must demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions. Will participate in performance improvement initiatives. Will assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day to day operation of the department. Qualifications Job Requirements 2 year/ Associate Degree Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A. R. R. T.) or be registry eligible If registry eligible upon hire, must become registered within one year of employment and maintain their registry while employed.
