Crusher/Plant Maintenance Mechanic

Description:
FUNCTION: The crusher/plant maintenance mechanic is responsible for the diagnosis, repair and preventative maintenance of concrete plants, wash plants, portable screens and aggregate crushers. KEY ACTIVITIES: Visualize and implement the Clyde Companies, Inc. vision and core values Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of asphalt and concrete batching plants. Responsible for installing new and maintaining old equipment at job sites. Diagnose, rebuild and repair equipment. Coordinate and communicate needed repairs on equipment. Responsible for safe operation and securing equipment. Maintain tools and logs as required to perform job. Ensure a safe and healthful work environment at all times. Assist the shop performing various duties. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Attention and commitment to safety. Ability to follow directions with minimal or no supervision. Self-starter. Mechanical aptitude. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent. Electrical Aptitude with at least 5 years experience required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to move at least 50 pounds.
