The Cruise Web is looking for talented salespeople with cruise travel industry experience to join our team in an exciting full-time and fully remote position! As a Cruise Sales Consultant , you would be part of a small sales team dedicated to closing sales and growing a profitable book of business. In this role, you will be working under the direction of a Team Leader and with the support of one or two Sales Assistants. As a Cruise Sales Consultant you will: Use your time management skills to work with interested travelers, research the best itineraries and book them on awesome cruise and land vacations. Follow up with booked clients to add air, travel insurance, hotels, pre/post packages, shore excursions and more to their reservation. Follow up on cruise requests generated from our industry leading website. Follow up with our past guests to book new cruise and land vacations. Use consultative sales skills to understand and provide a personalized recommendation. Utilize online and offline sources to research and develop a personalized recommendation. Meet and exceed team goals, including performance and activity levels. Manage your time effectively to achieve daily sales goals and metrics. Communicate ongoing sales activity utilizing Salesforce. Ideal candidates will have the following: 3+ years recent experience selling cruises and/or travel products is required Bachelor's degree preferred Experience selling in a team environment Ability to work with cruise line booking engines Computer proficiency, including word processing and web browsing Experience with CRM systems to document daily calls, tasks, and activity is required (Salesforce is a plus) Must be organized and self-motivated A history of exceeding sales quotas -- we love top performers!
