The ideal candidate should have former public sector experience, and willingness to travel. Federal licensure is a plus. Duties:Provide legal representation to clients facing criminal charges.Conduct legal research and analysis on criminal law issues.Develop defense strategies and tactics.Negotiate plea bargains and settlements with prosecuting attorneys.Prepare and present cases in court proceedings, including trials and appeals.Interview clients, witnesses, and law enforcement personnel.Handle all aspects of the criminal defense process, from arraignment to sentencing.Maintain client confidentiality and trust. Requirements:5-7 years of experience in criminal defense.Former public sector experience preferred.Willingness to travel as needed.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.Strong knowledge of criminal law and procedure.Excellent communication and advocacy skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Attention to detail and accuracy in legal work.Federal licensure (preferred). Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.Federal licensure (preferred).
