RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Process daily tickets received by the plants. Keep a log of arrivals. Maintain the ticket control and report any discrepancies to your manager. Check references on new credit applications. Set up new accounts once approved by the Credit Manager. Send Welcome letters to new customers and maintain the Excel log. Process all internal and external mail for the company. Pick up the mail at the post office in the morning and drop the mail off in the evening. Drop off FedEx when needed. Deliver all mail to both Corporate buildings. Distribute mail several times a day at Corporate. File all customer documents. Maintain all files in the A/R Dept. Retrieve necessary copies of tickets, invoice, etc. as needed. Send weekly invoices and monthly statements via US Mail and email. Prepare the daily checks and deposit electronically. Box old documents for archival and eventual disposal, as needed. Assist internal and external customers with questions/issues as needed. Organize and send supplies as needed to sales locations. Verify all cash sale tax exempt tickets have the proper forms. Type Legal Demands and other customer correspondence as needed. Back up to the Accounts Receivable Specialist and various office duties. Take the bank deposits to the bank when necessary. Back up to the phone operator for lunch, vacations and as needed. Perform other duties as may be required to insure the quality of the accounts receivable and the efficiency of the department and its staff. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CREDIT ADMIN SPECIAL IST Accuracy and attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. Computer knowledge, Excel and applicable software. Time sensitivity. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. A dedication to preserving company records and managing paperwork. Willingness to help out when and where it is needed.
