Join Community Services Group (CSG) , a Certified B Corporation, as a Coverage Coordinator for our Adult Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Community Home Services in Mountville, PA (Lancaster County) and find meaning in your work every day. Hiring immediately for this position. This position offers: $16.50/hour. Full-Time (40 hours/week) Generally Monday to Friday hours with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. As a Coverage Coordinator , you will perform a wide variety of functions related to coordinating coverage and scheduling of staff in residential locations as well as be responsible to manage scheduling in a cost effective and efficient manner. You will also: Coordinate and assist with the scheduling of direct support professionals with program supervisors. In the absence of a program supervisor the you will assume primary responsibility for coordinating coverage. Communicate the schedules of direct support professionals to supervisors and managers. Ensure that time off requests are communicated and reflected on schedules. Monitor staffing vacancies and PTO coverage and call off needs on a daily basis through established systems. Determine coverage priorities in conjunction with program managers, and manages staff vacancies. Train new supervisors on CSG policies and practices related to residential staffing and coverage. Organize and maintain various schedules, including documenting, updating, and logging schedules and staff availability using established systems. Maintain and update contact information. May provide direct coverage as requested. Respond to coverage cancellations and employee absences and makes prompt revisions to schedules as they are needed. Resolve urgent and immediate requests and/or schedule discrepancies with direct support professionals and their supervisors. Monitor and reduce the use of overtime when scheduling direct support professionals. Travel to group locations and/or other locations to attend administrative and program meetings as needed. Consult with the program director regarding the general function of the locations i.e. staff vacancies/coverage needs, long-range concerns and special program needs. Must be familiar with training requirements of staff prior to being scheduled, supervision levels at each location, etc. Performs other duties as directed. Familiarity with scheduling systems and managing schedules. Understanding of residential services in the human services field is helpful. Ability to work flexible hours to meet program's needs. Have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend training, meetings, and to provide direct coverage as requested.
