Urban Wellness is a clinician-focused, female-led private practice in Chicago on a mission to eliminate mental health stigma by creating awareness of, appreciation for, and acceptance of mental health self-care. We strive to help members of our communities reconnect with the things that are truly important and thrive both in their own lives and in their relationships. Our team is multicultural and inclusive. Our clinicians represent a wide range of racial and ethnic groups and religions. We make wellness a down-to-earth practice starting in-house with the team that we have built. We have three office locations in various Chicago neighborhoods; Edison Park, Sauganash, and Old Irving Park. And a newly opened office in Forest Park. It is important that our providers align with the mission and values of Urban Wellness. We believe in creating the best atmosphere for our clients and employees, to give back to our community, and being committed to social justice and anti-racism work. Our mission is to help members of our communities thrive, both in their own lives and in their relationships. If you feel you can bring your whole self and be part of a practice that wants you to come as you are, please be advised of the following when applying: Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LCPC) in the State of Illinois OR Active, unrestricted provisional license (LPC, LSW, MFT) in the State of Illinois. A copy must be provided to Urban Wellness.
