NPW is seeking an experienced and driven Counter Sales-Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will be initiative-taking and can provide exceptional customer service while supplying customers with timely & accurate information regarding order status, and responding to customer concerns will support our sales effort by expanding current customer relationships and identifying new customers. Who is NPW? NPW is a leading independent automotive aftermarket parts distributor. The Company has over 500 employees, over 50 company owner locations in 16 states and Canada that include both stores and warehouses. NPW was founded in 1969 and has grown significantly through the successful completion of 30 acquisitions and organic endeavors. Responsibilities: Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries via: web, email, and/or telephone Ensure all customer orders are being processed within designated Service Level Agreements Establish new accounts through client referrals or outbound calls to potential customers Provides quotes & order information to customers Demonstrates knowledge of the product Provides technical advice, troubleshoots, & finds a solution to the customer's problem Map route for the safest & efficient delivery Reconcile shipment with order receipt & ensure delivery in a safe & timely manner Maintain a valid driver's license & clean driving record in accordance with federal, state, & company standards Additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager Minimum of one (1) year of inside sales or customer service experience Thorough knowledge of the automotive industry required Excellent customer service and communication skills Must have excellent phone etiquette Bilingual English/Spanish is a PLUS! Positive and professional attitude Must be able to occasionally lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Consistently lift/carry 10-20lbs. Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, speak, and listen .
