Nemean Solutions is seeking a fully qualified Counter Defilade Munitions Subject Matter Expert . Work is located at Fort Benning, near lovely Columbus, GA. These are contingent upon award. Key Tasks: The project officer shall perform system engineering, theoretical analyses, test planning and program execution to support the Lethality Branch (LB) and development Team to address the Aerial / Counter Defilade Munitions Gap and new weapon system procurement. The project officer shall provide technical expertise and advisory services to LB in coordination and staffing of a Light Miniature Arial Missile System (LMAMS), Single Multi-mission Attack Munition (SMAM) Capability Development Document (CDD) or any other required JCIDS documents, including required supporting analysis and documentation. The project officer shall provide expertise in development and/or refinement of CONOPS and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP), to include scenario development for simulations, systems analysis of alternatives, and live demonstrations. The project officer shall perform system engineering analysis and provide technical advisory assistance to the LB SMEs by synchronizing and managing emerging inter-agency as well as intra-agency partnerships to ensure the mission and program objectives are accomplished. The project officer shall review program plans, integrated master schedules; prepare presentation material; attend technical interchange meetings and provide technical expertise via teleconferences. The project officer shall summarize meeting results and actions, identify technical risk areas, and outline mitigation approaches. The project officer shall attend and support focused meetings and/or Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings and demonstrations on behalf of the LB Deputy related to Counter Defilade Munitions technology development, Joint-service program synchronization, User operational assessments/rapid fielding initiatives, and PM acquisition strategy/transition coordination. The project officer shall provide expertise in the development of Counter Defilade Munitions briefings and reports that include supporting graphics and other technical analyses as required. The project officer shall analyze and prepare reports identifying problems and program impact by utilizing technical expertise in the performance of gaps assessment and systems engineering analysis to develop traceable system level requirements and notional system concepts and architectures to guide LB portfolio investment decisions. Minimum Experience: Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Capability Developer Level 1 Qualification Served as a leader with combat arms military experience, with a minimum of six (6) years of active-duty service in combat arms or special operation units. Proven extensive knowledge (minimum 4 years) experience with equipment, enabler, weapon, or ammunition of assigned task area. Served as member of small teams or units to complete assigned tasks or objectives. Firsthand expert knowledge of previous (within the last 15 years) and current DoD weapons, ammunition, and enablers. Proven ability to planning, coordinate and implement weapons and enabler capabilities-based programs that support the acquisition of a variety of material solutions for combat arms forces. In-depth knowledge of current and future weapon systems, to include, but not limited to, doctrine, tactics, and techniques of employment. Extensive knowledge of current and evolving organizational structures is desired, as well as an understanding of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documentation system. Proven ability to develop Initial Capability Documents (ICD), Capability Developments Documents (CDD), and annex updates for upgrades and incremental technology improvements, monitoring and maintaining funding during Research, Development, Testing, and Evaluation (RDT&E) as well as procurement phases. Proven ability to prepare and deliver technology technical and status briefings (oral and written) to senior leaders, up to the Secretary of the Army, for United States (U.S.) forces, Allied and foreign armed services, U.S. Military and Defense Industry technological developments affecting combat arms systems, weapons, equipment, clothing, and vehicles. Proven ability to coordinate, consolidate and review MCDID written document submissions for higher headquarters and outside agencies (e.g., Army Materiel Command (AMC) Program/Project Managers, DA). Must HAVE: Minimum three (3) years Combat Developer experience or Project Management experience or Squad Leader/ above leadership position in combat arms branch. First-hand user experience with previous (last 15 years) and current aerial/indirect/counter defilade/non-line of sight (NLOS) munitions that support the dismounted and mounted combat arms/special operation units. 10 years Active-duty military experience required.
