The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking enthusiastic Counselors for our Before and/or After School Child Care programs within the Glen Allen area. Locations include Shady Grove YMCA, Springfield Park Elementary, and Echo Lake Elementary. The pay for this position starts at $13 per hour based on experience and qualifications. $250 hiring incentive available! Duties: Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with a group of school age children, and participating in group programs. Program hours are weekdays from 2-6pm. Qualifications: Applicants should have a minimum of six months of child care experience, preferably in a licensed facility High school diploma or GED required Minimum age is 18 The following certifications are highly desirable: CPR/AED Certification appropriate to age group First Aid Certification The YMCA of Greater Richmond stands committed to creating a work environment comprised of individuals from diverse socio-economic, racial, ethnic, religious, and national origins.
