GBS This position primarily involves a hybrid work schedule : working remotely: Monday and Friday / on site: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Reporting to the Head of Product and Solutions or Solutions COE Lead, this position will own, enhance, and set the future strategy for Life, AD and D and Business Accident insurance, inclusive of product, experience, services, and capabilities. This individual will be responsible for understanding the market and landscape, and developing the Life insurance strategy that defines vision, offerings, and associated roadmaps and timelines to support. This individual must exhibit strong leadership skills such as the ability to partner, lead, influence, and listen to develop a winning strategy based on market needs. The ideal candidate is strategic but can map out and deliver short term wins in support of growth targets and experience. Responsibilities: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: Responsible for developing a Life, AD and D and BTA product strategy that will deliver value to key stakeholders, including producers, clients, and customers. : Builds and owns a multi:year roadmap of deliverables related to new/enhanced products, services, capabilities, and operational enhancements to achieve differentiation. Responsible for making business cases seeking organizational buy:in and funding to support priorities. : Understands market dynamics, including market evolution, emerging trends, and the competitive landscape. Leverage knowledge to evolve strategy, roadmaps, and overall direction. :Defines new areas of opportunity, investments, and partnerships to advance the product portfolio forward.:Partners with stakeholders in Product, Ops, IT to ensure product, services and capabilities are delivered on time and are meeting market needs. : Establishes one:self as the Head of Life insurance sharing the solutions strategy broadly across the organization to bring others along and ensure alignment to strategy and goals.: Leads and mentors team of direct and indirect team members in the design, development, and execution of new and enhanced solutions tied to assigned product portfolio. : Drives thought:leadership ideation and creation. Equips market:facing resources with content and messaging to win and retain business.Requirements: : Bachelor's degree with at least 10+ years of group insurance and current experience managing the Life, AD and D and Business Accident insurance products. : Strong relationship building with matrix partners; experienced driving change through large, complex organizations. : Prior experience managing, engaging, and leading a high performing team to successful outcomes. : Future mindset, but willingness to jump in, own work and make meaningful progress. : Demonstrated strong analytical and problem:solving skills; ability to innovate and willingness to test and learn. : Proven ability to deliver results. Established skillset to leverage market knowledge, data, and feedback to consult and make future recommendations to leadership.
