The ideal candidate will possess significant experience handling MA transactions, particularly with public companies. Strong understanding of corporate law and market terms, effective deal management skills, and a business development-oriented mindset are essential. U.S. law firm experience and outstanding academic credentials are required, while fluency in written and verbal Spanish is considered advantageous. Duties:Lead and manage all aspects of MA transactions, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents.Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on corporate and MA matters.Conduct due diligence investigations and manage due diligence teams.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, opposing counsel, and financial advisors.Assist in the development and execution of transaction strategies.Manage client relationships and participate in business development activities.Stay updated on legal and market developments relevant to MA transactions.Mentor junior associates and provide guidance on complex legal issues. Requirements:4-7 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, preferably in a leading law firm.Significant experience handling MA transactions, particularly involving public companies.Strong understanding of corporate law and market terms.Effective deal management skills and ability to handle high levels of responsibility.Business development-oriented mindset.Outstanding academic credentials. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputable law school.Admission to the State Bar of New York or eligibility for admission. Skills:Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Fluency in written and verbal Spanish is a plus.
