The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advising clients on private equity fund formation and related operational matters. Duties:Provide legal counsel and support to clients on private equity fund formation, including drafting and negotiating fund documentation.Conduct legal research to stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in investment funds.Collaborate with senior attorneys to analyze and structure complex investment transactions.Review and assess fund operational matters, addressing regulatory compliance issues and ensuring adherence to legal standards. Requirements:A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on private equity fund formation.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Illinois Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.Proven track record in providing legal support for investment funds and related corporate transactions. Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skills.Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities for fund documentation.In-depth understanding of investment fund regulations and compliance.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when necessary.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in legal analysis and documentation.
