The Printer/Copier Service Technician position is responsible for service, maintenance, and network installation on document imaging equipment (multi-function printers) in the Newport News, Virginia area. Responsibilities: Provide routine maintenance, troubleshooting & repair of copiers, printers, scanners & fax machines. Perform network installation of copiers, printers & scanners, working with our customers IT support to load print drivers & setup scan to email/folders/SMB. Diagnosis & troubleshooting of network related printing & scanning issues. Setup & installation of new copiers & printers. Provide excellent customer service & support to our valued customers. Maintain an updated & complete car stock as well as updated service-related manuals & tools. Effective time/schedule management & prioritization of service requests. Adhere to all company policies, service procedures and safety regulations. Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills. Strong aptitude in analyzing mechanical movements and electrical components. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows/PC & MAC operating systems. Detail oriented including excellent time management skills. Excellent driving record. Motor Vehicle Report required for the selected candidate. High School diploma, college degree or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and reliable. Strong desire to continue learning about new industry technologies & equipment. Microsoft certifications or COMPTIA certifications are a plus. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. Additional Details: Cobb has a thriving, collaborative culture.
