TITLE: Coordinator, Volunteer ProgramsREPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Director, Volunteer Programs and AdvocacyJOB LOCATION: Chicago, IL. At least one day per week in the Chicago office, withoption for other days to be worked remotely.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Occasional travel to support groups, events, andconferencesDESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: As the Foundation's Coordinator, Volunteer Programs youwill have all of the responsibilities and authority customarily attendant to such aposition, including, but not limited to, the following:PFF SUPPORT GROUP LEADER NETWORKEnsure the effective operations of the Support Group Leader Network (SGLN)which includes, but is not limited to:Maintain and develop relationships with volunteer support group leaders,including joining support group meetings and acting as primary contactfor support group updatesAssist with execution of SGLN quarterly teleconferences and trainingAssist with the marketing and promotion of the SGLNUpdate support group information for the PFF website and databaseAct as staff liaison for the PFF Lung Transplant Community SupportGroupCollect SGLN data to generate reportsLEANNE STORCH SUPPORT GROUP FUNDAdminister grant program which includes, but is not limited to:Develop application, program materials, and marketing of fundSchedule and facilitate committee meetingsManage the process of approval and distribution of fundsStewardship of granteesPFF AMBASSADOR PROGRAMEnsure the effective operations of the PFF Ambassador program which includes,but is not limited to:Maintain and develop relationships with volunteer PFF AmbassadorsReceive event requests and coordinate PFF Ambassador attendance ateventsPlan and book all travel for PFF AmbassadorsOversee payment of PFF Ambassadors' out-of-pocket expenses andstipendsAssist with the marketing and promotion of the PFF Ambassador programMaintain promotional calendar for Ambassador events and facilitate eventpromotions via established communications' channelsAssist with coordinating Ambassador trainings and monthly AmbassadorteleconferencesAssist with annual process of identifying and onboarding new PFFAmbassadorsTravel to some PFF Ambassador events as a PFF staff representativeOTHER RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate shipping of educational materials to volunteers and patientsCoordinate volunteer engagement for events including annual PFF Hill Day, PFFSummit, and Annual Volunteer MeetingCoordinate requests for volunteer participation in stakeholder opportunities,such as steering committees and focus groupsWork closely with the Director, Volunteer Programs and Advocacy, to carry outthe mission and objectives of the Foundation as approved by the Board ofDirectorsMaintain positive working relationships as a team player through problemsolving issues, speaking positively about others, listening attentively, andobserving the policies outlined in the PFF personnel handbookWork well as a team member with positive and timely written and verbalcommunicationPerform all other duties as assignedPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of Bachelor's DegreeWritten and spoken fluency in Spanish preferredOne to two (1-2) years of progressively responsible experience and success inprogram development and implementation within a nonprofit environmentpreferredAbility to lift and carry up to 25 poundsSuperior self-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projectswith a moderate level of supervisionHigh degree of creativity, energy, initiative, and attention to detailDeadline-driven, incorporating effective planning and time managementstrategiesEffective verbal and written communications skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeMinimum of Bachelor's DegreeWritten and spoken fluency in Spanish preferredOne to two (1-2) years of progressively responsible experience and success inprogram development and implementation within a nonprofit environmentpreferredAbility to lift and carry up to 25 poundsSuperior self-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projectswith a moderate level of supervisionHigh degree of creativity, energy, initiative, and attention to detailDeadline-driven, incorporating effective planning and time managementstrategiesEffective verbal and written communications skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Officerecblid u18t2sxf6o38ha5fz0cnex58j25j7bBA/BS/UndergraduatePDN-9bd177e2-3e97-4eb7-a337-bef333fb02f5
