Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Manager, Spiritual Care Services, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface General Hospital (SBGH), the COORDINATOR, SPIRITUAL CARE Education is responsible for: coordinating, facilitating and administering spiritual care education program (CPE) at SBGH and other sites of the Catholic Health Corporation; acting as a resource for in-service education for all health care disciplines as requested; participating on committees; providing frontline Spiritual Care Services to patients, families and staff; and performing other related duties as assigned. Experience Three (3) years’ hospital Spiritual Health Care experience. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Master’s degree in Divinity, Theology or equivalent. Supervisor (Associate or Teaching) certification with Canadian Association of Spiritual Care (CASC). Must maintain certification. Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications and Skills Ability to read, write, speak and understand French is preferred. Knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in the use of various common software applications which may include, but is not limited to, spreadsheet, word processing,.
