Long-term opportunity for an experienced Contract Functional Safety Engineer to work on a one-of-a-kind development project in Oxfordshire. Our customer operates in a world that essentially influences future technologies with their equipment. They are one of a handful of other companies worldwide who work in the same sector, meaning you won’t find a multitude of roles like this one. As a result of successful rounds of funding and a planned major upgrade to existing technology, they are seeking a range of professional Contractors. You will be working specifically on developing and maintaining a design process for personnel safety systems. This role will require an on-site presence to allow for efficient communication and management. Key skills required – Contract Functional Safety Engineer, Oxfordshire: Proven experience in delivery of electronic protective systems under the umbrella of the 61508-safety lifecycl Performing GAP analysis, Layers Of Protection Analysis LOPA, Safety Integrity Level SIL determination, Hazard studie Managing the specification, design, installation and testing and validation of the safety equipment. This role has an indicative INSIDE IR35 determination therefore candidates will be required to operate via an Umbrella company.
