United States - New Mexico - Albuquerque Job Summary Bohannan Huston is currently seeking a full-time experienced Construction Observer to join our Construction Engineering Group in our Albuquerque, NM office. As a Construction Observer in our Construction Engineering Group, you would likely be involved in numerous tasks that include providing daily construction observation of the construction contractor's work to determine it is being constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications. Other responsibilities include writing daily field reports, tracking material quantities, interpret plans and specifications, maintain a red line set of construction drawings, assist contractor on RFI's, review material submittals, field testing of materials, and other miscellaneous tasks associated with construction inspection. WHO YOU ARE You have a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least 2 years of experience in construction. You have experience in construction observation. You have or are able to obtain your certification in operating a Nuclear Densometer. You have the ability to retrieve material samples. You have written and oral communication skills, computer skills (Word and Excel). You have the ability to track unit price quantities, read plans, and understand standard specifications. You are determined, organized, and detail oriented. You are customer focused. Construction materials laboratory testing experience is desired.
