Project Overview The Cheniere Corpus Christi Liquefaction (CCL) Project is a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) export facility located on the north shore of Corpus Christi Bay in Gregory, Texas. The 1,000+ acre facility started bulk early works in July 2015 as the first greenfield export facility in the United States. Bechtel has successfully and safely completed construction and it now consists of three operating Trains with an LNG production capacity ofapproximately 15 million tons per year (MTPA), three LNG storage tanks with combined capacity of 480,000 cubic meters of LNG, 2 Jetty superstructures that can accommodate the world's largest vessels, and dozens of associated buildings and utilities. Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project Stage 3 (CCL3) is a new phase at the existing CCL facility and will consist of seven midscale liquefaction trains with an LNG production capacity of approximately 10 MTPA and associated infrastructure including utilities. CCL3 will perform all this work predominantly on a direct hire basis with support from only a few specialty and service subcontractors. Job Summary: The Area Manager will report to the Project Superintendent and is responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering the project from planning through procurement, construction, and turn:over. Supervises the development of budgets and schedules, manages performance, reports progress, and initiates action to assure program/project objectives and schedules are met and work is performed within budget and according to specifications. Resolves problems and coordinates the final turnover of work to those responsible for downstream work activities. Provides leadership for the development and maintenance of a high:performance project team.Has overall responsibility for scope execution, ensuring that the Program and Project are delivered within contract requirements, standards of quality and safety, and to Customer and Bechtel performance expectations. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule if required, including,but not limited to nightshift, split shift, or day shift to support the project execution plans and schedules. Responsibilities :Directs and manages all professional staff, direct hire craft professionals, and subcontracted scopes related to the construction of Energy projects in their assigned area of responsibility.:Ensures scope, design basis, and objectives are defined, best practices/lessons learned reviewed, detailed work plans, schedules, budgets, and procedures are established, including:Execution Plan, Contract Management Plan, and Plan for addressing critical cross:functional work processes and systems, etc.Obtains concurrence by themembers of the project team, functional management, and the Customer.:Ensures integra
