Permanent Position : Construction Manager (NOC #0711)Company: Planet Wood Exteriors Ltd. Vacancies: 01Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible. Head Office: 7792 117 St Delta, BC V4C 6A5Wage Rate: $42.00 Hourly, for 40 Hours per week Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day, Evening, weekend, Overtime if required. Education: Mnium High School required. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Languages: English Job Duties: • To plan, organize and manage the construction projects including the cost estimates, budgets, and schedules. • Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion. • Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations. • Procedures for accomplishing project • Develop and implement quality control programs• Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules• Represent the company and act on the behalf of company in negotiating contracts, prepare contracts and revisions. • Explaining contracts and technical information to employees; supervising construction personnel and activities onsite. • Developing workarounds for delays and other problems, Develop and implement quality control programs• Hire and supervise the activates of Subcontractors. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure. Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory. Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, youth, new immigrants, and persons with disabilities.
