Founded in 2005, Reef has completed more than 500 transactions with an aggregative value of ~$2 billion dollars. Reef has an exceptional track record of performance, with an IRR on realized investments over the past decade of ~20%. Reef Private Equity, a subsidiary of Reef Capital Partners, focuses on real estate equity investments especially development projects. Reef Private Equity is currently developing a wide variety of projects, including a $1 billion+ world-class resort in Ivins Utah, 150 SF lots and 300+ townhomes at the new Mayflower Ski Resort near Park City Utah, a 900 lot lake and golf community in Virginia, 300 apartments in Idaho, 48 townhomes in Eden, Utah, etc. Job Responsibilities: The Construction Manager reports directly to the company's Project Directors and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their assigned projects. This involves working closely with Project Directors, Reef's accounting, legal, and risk management teams, directing consultants, and managing project budgets and schedules. Essential Functions: Assist and advise development project team on all matters related to the construction of luxury residential townhome and condominium projects comprising 380 units at the heart of the ongoing Mayflower Mountain Resort Development in Park City, UT. Develop scopes of work, RFPs, and participate in the selection of key third parties, including general contractor. Review bid documents, negotiate and finalize contract agreements. Engage as needed to assist project team to proactively identify and resolve risk factors or issues during design that may impact construction. Oversee the work of the general contractor to organize and execute the construction process and achieve objectives for budget, schedule, standards, and specifications of quality. Regularly inspect the work of the Construction Contractor general contractor and subcontractors for conformance to design documents, applicable building codes, and safety standards. Proactively identify and develop solutions to mitigate risks to budge and schedule. Assists in review, vetting, pricing, and administration of additional service and change order requests. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. Master of Real Estate Development, a related field, or equivalent experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling Experience in real estate development and construction management The ideal candidate has 10+ years experience in managing construction of large-scale, complex, luxury residential construction projects.
