About being our Construction Management Intern As a Construction Management Intern, you will assist with a broad range of construction management activities for a variety of water resources and public works projects. With the benefit of in person supervision, you will provide support to the project team with on-site construction management activities including project submittal review, taking photos of operations in progress, attending project meetings as requested, schedule review, project record keeping assistance, technical calculations, and other responsibilities of field personnel. Responsibility Highlights for our Construction Management Intern Supporting and assisting a project team Observing heavy civil construction activities Opportunity to practice concepts learned in school/relevant coursework and b uild upon technical skills, abilities and knowledge Minimum Qualifications to be our Construction Management Intern Must be a college/university student pursuing an education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related program (at an accredited university/college) Ability to work on an active construction site to experience a collaborative team environment Driving may be required and must be able to meet company driving requirements Ability to work on-site in a construction trailer or building; ability to walk on uneven surfaces, stand, climb ladders, crawl, stoop, and enter confined spaces; tolerate heat, cold, dirt, odors, and other construction hazards may exist Preferred Qualifications for our Construction Management Intern Engineer In Training (EIT) or other related certification Knowledge of the construction process and the ability to read, understand and interpret construction drawings and specifications Job Posted by ApplicantPro
