Concrete Foreman (Water/Wastewater) Location Cibolo, TX Pay Range Commensurate with Industry Experience Travel Occasional local travel and daily travel around job site _____________________________________________________________________________________ Overview Manage and assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties under close supervision. Usually an entry level position as the first step to learn a skill. Job Duties Manage field crew in day to day production of projects Exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety Ensure field crews receive required safety training and monitor training effectiveness daily. Order tools and equipment Responsible for interpreting construction blueprints/plans and verifying specifications Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals Provide leadership to others through example Train and develop individual field crew vocational skill sets through mentorship and OJT (on job training) Requirements Five (5) years of experience managing multiple crews on industrial construction projects Water/Wastewater projects preferred Experience with formwork systems such as Peri, Symon and Alsina is preferred Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables Be able to communicate in English (verbal and written) Spanish fluency is a plus Lift, push, or pull and move up to seventy (70) pounds Climb, kneel, twist, and bend in a various environments Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers Ability to physically maneuver by foot minor obstacles at construction projects Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind Valid driver license for occasional, required travel The Statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and levels of work performed by employees, but are not a complete list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
