Compliance & Risk Management Operations Associate Lead

Reporting to the Head of Compliance and Risk Management, the Compliance and Risk Management Operations Associate Lead will oversee operational support for the Institute's Compliance and Risk Management Ethics and Integrity Program. Responsibilities include: - Supporting the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices. - Creating and delivering training programs. - Assisting in internal monitoring, reviews, and audits. - Ensuring corrective actions are implemented. - Managing administrative tasks related to insurance policies for Gates MRI's portfolio. - Providing expertise in compliance procedures and standards, with experience in corporate compliance programs and oversight. Responsibilities * Develop, implement, and update corporate policies, procedures, and best practices. * Create and deliver compliance training to internal stakeholders. * Update risk registers through collaboration with key stakeholders. * Assist in internal monitoring, reviews, and audits, ensuring corrective actions are taken. * Manage project activities for C&RM-led committees and maintain meeting documentation. * Contribute to internal communications and SharePoint page for employee engagement. * Coordinate with outside counsel for debarment and exclusion checks. * Collect and analyze data for Compliance Metrics reporting. * Support data privacy program, including preparing DPIAs. * Research and analyze regulatory trends and new legislation. * Handle other assigned tasks and projects as needed. Required Skills * Bachelor's degree in a compliance-related field (e.g., finance, business administration). * 7 years of experience in developing and managing corporate compliance programs, with a focus on biotech/pharma. * Proficient in defining legal and industry standards through policies, procedures, training, audits, and monitoring. * Strong organizational skills and interest in life sciences and global public health. * Demonstrated commitment to integrity and ethics. * Ability to exercise discretion with confidential projects and issues.
