What does a Communication and Events Specialist do? A Communications and Event Specialist will assist in organizing and coordinating internal and external communications and Art Center Events, while also providing job coaching and support for interns and employees with developmental disabilities related to their job or workplace. Qualifications: A High School Degree is required. An Associate's Degree in Communication, Arts, Arts Education, or a similar field is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office and various social media platforms is required. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
