Duties:Handle all aspects of commercial litigation and insurance coverage mattersDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documentsConduct legal research and analysisAssist in preparing for trials, hearings, and arbitrationsRepresent clients in court proceedings and negotiationsCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjustersProvide legal advice and guidance to clients on insurance coverage issuesEvaluate insurance policies and coverage disputesDevelop case strategies and provide litigation support to senior attorneysManage discovery processes, including document production and depositions Requirements:2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage litigationJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the State Bar in NY (additional Bar admissions helpful) Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the State Bar in NY (additional Bar admissions helpful) Skills:Strong research and writing skillsConfidence in appearing before court and clientsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesAttention to detail and accuracyProficiency in legal research databases and software
