The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills, along with confidence in appearing before courts and clients. Bar admission in PA, NY, NJ, MA, or DE is helpful. Duties:Handle commercial litigation matters, including insurance coverage disputesConduct legal research and analysis on complex issuesDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documentsCommunicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courtRepresent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trialsNegotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methodsProvide strategic advice and counsel to clients regarding insurance coverage issuesConduct discovery, including document production and depositionsCollaborate with other attorneys and staff members on case strategy and managementKeep abreast of developments in insurance law and commercial litigation Requirements:2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigationBar admission in DE (helpful)Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Bar admission in DE (helpful) Skills:Strong research and writing skillsConfidence in appearing before courts and clientsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectivelyKnowledge of insurance law and commercial litigation procedures This mid-sized, East Coast law firm has a widely recognized reputation for experience and excellence in litigation.
