This role offers the opportunity to handle significant responsibility on complex client matters.Duties:Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials.Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop case strategies and tactics.Manage caseload effectively, meeting deadlines and ensuring timely communication with clients.Assist in all aspects of case management, including file organization, document review, and preparation for hearings and trials.Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to the California State Bar (active status).2-8 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably at a reputable law firm.Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload and work effectively under pressure.Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.Proven track record of academic excellence.Certifications:Admission to practice law in California (active status).Skills:Legal research and writing.Case management and organization.Litigation strategy and tactics.Client communication and relationship management.Negotiation and alternative dispute resolution.Proficiency in relevant legal software and technology.
