Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial,Litigation - Class Actions - Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in Phoenix is seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Litigation and Class Action Associate Attorney to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal writing skills, be proactive, and demonstrate a strong business and entrepreneurial sense. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships. The successful candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving, and issue resolution skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple files and competing deadlines. Trial experience is preferred, along with previous class action litigation experience. Duties:Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing for commercial litigation and class action mattersDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documentsParticipate in discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requestsPrepare for and attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trialsCommunicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholdersManage and prioritize case load to meet deadlines and client expectationsCollaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and executionAssist with client development and business generation efforts Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice law in Arizona2+ years of experience in commercial litigationStrong legal writing skills with attention to detailProactive with a strong business and entrepreneurial senseExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage internal and external client and counsel relationshipsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and issue resolution skillsExperience managing multiple files and competing deadlinesDemonstrated commitment to teamwork and client serviceTrial experience preferredPrevious class action litigation experience preferred Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the State Bar of Arizona Skills:Legal research and analysisLegal writing and draftingClient communication and relationship managementCase management and organizationTrial preparation and attendanceDiscovery procedures and practicesNegotiation and settlement skillsTeam collaboration and leadership Benefits:The firm offers a generous benefits package for eligible full-time associate attorneys within our U.S. offices, including:Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) and profit sharing plansPaid vacation and parental leaveAdditional elective programs:Health flexible spending accountHealth savings accountIdentity theft protectionDependent day care reimbursement accountCommuter benefitsLife and ADD insuranceShort- and long-term disability protectionEmployee assistance program With 19 offices across the United States, this full-service firm has a long history of providing superior legal services to every client.
