ABOUT VIRIDIAN COFFEE Viridian Coffee was founded in 2016 and is the only coffee roaster in Southwest Oklahoma. We offer our fresh, locally roasted coffee by the pound to our guests for them to enjoy at home; as well as in each of our five full-service coffee houses located in Duncan and Lawton, Oklahoma. Our team consists of over 100 individuals who are dedicated to the mission of "building community and culture around a great cup of coffee!" by offering an exceptional guest experience and creating handcrafted beverages made with fresh, locally roasted coffee. Viridian Coffee is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic to fill the role of Coffee House Maintenance Technician. Maintenance Technician duties and responsibilities A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the facility. A technician will be required to be proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide rage of equipment found inside of a coffee house. This equipment will include refrigeration, ice machines, coffee brewers, espresso machines, grinders, HVAC, and more. Responsibilities and Duties Include, but are not limited to: Performing routine maintenance on refrigeration equipment, including refrigerators, freezers, walk-in coolers, & ice machines. Performing installation and routine maintenance on coffee-making equipment, including brewers, espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and water boilers Maintaining parts and supply inventory system to ensure we have the proper materials for the job role. Maintaining an organized work space and van in a way that is professional and easy to navigate and operate. Performing routine maintenance around the building, such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs Maintaining the building's HVAC equipment to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped BENEFITS Health Insurance Vision & Dental Insurance Life and Disability Insurance Referral Program Free Beverages, Coffee, and Substantial Team discounts Company Vehicle For Work Travel REQUIREMENTS Great Attitude and Team Player Valid Drivers License Self Motivated and Directed Refrigeration and HVAC Experience Organized and Orderly
