Based just a few miles from the M1 & M62 motorways in LEEDS, the successful CNC Production Engineer will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Pontefract, Castleford, Selby, Wetherby, Dewsbury and Halifax. Key responsibilities of the CNC Production Engineer: Working within a busy spare & replacement component manufacturing environment, specifically responsible for the routing & scheduling of high tolerance machined parts Reviewing technical drawings and deciding on the most efficient method & routing of machined parts, including addition tooling auxiliary equipment Continuously ensuring that front end tooling is available at the point of manufacture Effectively using SAP to ensure accurate recording of schedules Attending a variety of meetings kick-off, tool box talks etc to ensure overall awareness of manufacturing progress & output For the CNC Production Engineer position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess the following: IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Possess formal qualifications within a relevant discipline.
