Position : CNC Machinist Shift : 2nd| Hours : 3PM - 11PM Type : Full-Time | Mode : Direct Placement Pay Scale : $25hr | Industry : ManufacturingCompany Overview:Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist for their 2nd shift. Candidates with both Milling and Lathe experience are preferred, but not required.Job Description: As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. You will work with a variety of materials, including metal and plastic, and use various tools and equipment to complete your tasks. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications- Select and install appropriate cutting tools and adjust machine settings as needed- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy of parts- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machine operation or production- Maintain a clean and safe work environment- Follow all safety protocols and proceduresQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist- Proficient in reading blueprints and using measuring tools- Experience with CNC programming and G-code- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
