Job description Looking for a great place to work? Search no more, Walterscheid Inc. is currently seeking CNC Set Up Machinist for 2nd shift (1pm - 9pm) and 3rd shift (9pm-5am) Sunday - Thursday. Overtime is required. Walterscheid Offers the following benefits: Eligible for a $2,000.00 sign on bonus Eligible for a wage increase every 180 calendar days until employee reaches top of wage range (certain restrictions apply) 13 Paid holidays 401K match program Medical, Dental, Vision and other elective benefits available. Purpose: Qualified candidates will be required to operate CNC machines and work from process routings, blueprints and verbal instructions. Duties: Completing set ups involving bolting fixtures and jaws, setting and adjusting tools, machine stops, feeds and speeds, checking dimension on set up piece and making final tool adjustments. Running first piece and periodic part inspection to assure production of quality parts. Making autonomous maintenance adjustments to machinery and fluid levels. Recording daily production and is responsible for returning all set up material and paperwork to proper areas. Observing operation and changes tooling and inserts as necessary during operations.
