CNA - Assisted Living {Morning Shift (6 AM to 2:30 PM), Evening Shift (2:30 PM to 10 PM), & NOC Shift (10 PM to 6 AM) }. We are hiring individuals for all three shifts. Great flexibility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Assists with patient transfers, bathing, grooming, and other personal cares as needed Assists nurse by taking vital signs, food and fluid intake/output as directed Communicates effectively with residents and conveys respect and dignity at all times Takes meal orders, serves meals, and assists with other dining needs Makes daily entries into communication log and charts a variety of patient information Monitors call lights throughout facility and communicates effectively with other staff to ensure lights are answered in a timely manner Observes and reports any resident related issues such as medical, physical, emotional or social needs to the nurse or Administrator Conducts shift change report at the end of every shift to ensure a smooth shift transitions Uses appropriate safety precautions, personal protective equipment, and adheres to universal precautions and infection control guidelines Monitors the facility and resident rooms to ensure a safe environment Upholds patient and business confidentiality at all times. QUALIFICATIONS Current or future certified nursing assistant (helpful but not required). Current CPR and First Aid certifications (in-house training available). Food Handler permit. Emotionally resilient with a attentive attitude to resident's needs. Ability to multitask and work in a environment rich with communication. Knowledge of basic infection control procedures & ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADL's) READY TO JOIN OUR CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT TEAM?
