Your Role and Responsibilities Responsibilities: Coordinate inspection requirements for plant & customer needs with advanced quality and production group(s) Develop the required CMM/Scanner programs to conduct full dimensional part layouts and capability studies with appropriate reports for PPAP submissions based off customer/internal requirements Provide CMM/Scanner verifications/statistical analysis to support problem investigations Create and maintain proper documentation of inspection results Maintain CMM/Scanner in good working condition and perform validation checks during and after machine use Perform inspection using a variety of other precision measurement equipment (i. e. micrometers, height gauge, calipers, indicators, etc. ) to ensure conformance to specifications Conduct annual dimensional part layouts and capability studies on current parts as required Verify dimensional accuracy of tooling and check fixtures to the design and drawing specifications as required Maintain weekly and monthly reporting metrics All other relevant duties as directed.
