Within the Correctional Services core business area, there are two programs: community corrections & correctional facilities. Each of these program areas is broken down into closely related activities that have a specific impact on the program's target group. About Our Opportunity Under the general supervision of the Manager, Case Management & Social Work Services, the Clinical Team Lead provides clinical support, crisis counselling, mental health backssment, clinical case plan development and facilitates access to community services for individuals sentenced or remanded into custody at a designated correctional facility/centre and/or individuals subject to community-based sentences/dispositions. The Clinical Team Lead will provide direct clinical supervision to a team of collaborative and passionate forensic social workers and correctional caseworkers based in facility and community. With the incumbent’s expertise in the field of mental health and corrections, they will lead, coach, and provide guidance, support, and advice to our provincial case management team. The Clinical Team Lead will inspire, motivate, and ensure the engagement of our provincial case management team, investing in their professional development. Using their clinical social work expertise and critically reflective supervision techniques, they will support our team with difficult, complex cases and build capacity in the area of social justice work.
