Prince George Native Friendship Centre " We are a dynamic and compassionate team facilitating individual, family, and community growth, well-being, and mutual understanding through the " power of friendship" Join our Peer Assisted Care Team as an: Peer Assisted Care Team Clinical Supervisor Native Healing Centre - Health Services Full Time: 35 hrs / $38 hr The PGNFC Peer Assisted Care Team (PACT) provides an alternative to the presence of police personnel at mental health crisis calls in Prince George. The teams offer crisis support services that integrate cultural safety protocols and holistic care options. Mobile teams comprise of a mental health professional and a peer (someone with lived or living experience) which are available during service hours to support personnel during a mental health crisis. This program aims to reduce the harms experienced by people who have or are suffering a mental health crisis. The PACT Clinical Supervisor will incorporate knowledge and experiences in crisis backssment and intervention, de-escalation, harm reduction, suicide prevention, anti-oppressive practice, client-centred and recovery-oriented care, trauma-informed practice, and culturally competent care to support the PACT team and offer guidance and patient follow up.
