Job Summary: The Clinical Supervisor ensures high-quality; culturally competent clinical service delivery by Marriage and Family Therapist Trainees, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, Associate Clinical Social Workers, Professional Clinical Counselor Trainees, and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors affiliated with the Domestic Violence Resource Center (DVRC), Domestic Violence Advocacy Center (DVAC), the Emergency Shelter (ES) and Transitional Living (TL). The primary accountabilities for this position are (1) oversight of the effectiveness of clinical intervention and therapeutic services; (2) supervision of MFT Trainees, AMFTs, ACSWs, PCC Trainees, and APCCs; and (3) remaining current with laws governing the LMFT, LCSW and LPCC professions. Job Duties Provide weekly individual and group clinical supervision to MFT Trainees, AMFTs, ACSWs, PCC Trainees, and APCCs as applicable at the DVRC, DVAC, ES, and TL locations. Review, sign, and follow up as necessary clinical progress notes across locations of supervision. Maintain clinical supervision documentation. Interview and train student trainees annually (2-5 students per year). Participate in interviewing for open therapist positions. Complete/sign all forms required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences for supervisees. Complete evaluations of students as required by school programs, including reviews of recorded data and consultations with Practicum Instructors. Participate in OC MFT Consortium Meetings as needed. Enforce professional rules, regulations, and ethics. Enforce the agency's respective location's policies and procedures. Maintain current licensure, including requirements for license(s) maintenance (CEUs). Maintain current supervision requirements in accordance with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS). Additional Responsibilities Preserve confidentiality of all clients, staff, volunteers, and agency information. Exceptions include information pertaining to child abuse, elder abuse, danger to self or others, or in response to an authorized release of information. Represent the agency in a positive, professional manner at all times. Maintain a tidy, organized work area. Participate in agency functions as a participant or presenter as needed. Flexible hours as needed. Education and Experience Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field required. Current California license as MFT or LCSW required for 2 + years. Direct practice experience with domestic violence survivors required. 40-hour domestic violence training as required by law. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Bilingual Spanish preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer competency. Works well independently and as a team leader. Job Qualifications Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and appropriate insurance. Finger Printing and TB Test Employee will occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or fee, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
