Sterling Medical will soon be opening up Sterling Urgent Care in Afton. We are looking for clinical staff members with strong multitasking skills who are capable of delivering quality care to a multitude of patients of all age groups with diverse conditions and illness. The clinical staff provides direct and indirect professional patient care in the urgent care setting that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional practice under the supervision of the onsite provider. Sterling Medical's clinical staff member will be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate Sterling Medical's vision for their patients, members and investors. This vision consists of a concierge approach of bringing the patient and the provider closer together and eliminating the frustrations that occur frequently within healthcare organizations. The clinical staff member has a crucial role to help facilitate the patient experience into one where they are taken care of in a professional manner and where their cares and concerns have been addressed. Sterling Medical uses a wide variety of clinical staff to accomplish it's vision. The staff member's certification can range from a certified nursing assistant to a licensed registered nurse. Job duties supervision and payscale are consistent with the level of licensure. All clinical staff members work directly under the supervision of the on-site provider. Experience and certifications preferred are phlebotomy, IV insertion and maintenance, radiology, BLS and/or ACLS. Procedures that are performed within the Sterling Urgent care include but is not limited to phlebotomy, EKG's, Spirometry, X-rays, medication dispensing and education, IV insertion and maintenance, injections, audiometry, ear irrigation and drug screens. In addition the clinical staff personnel will assist the provider in procedures to include but not limited to lacerations, joint injections, I&D, mole removal, fracture care and other procedures. All clinical staff will be crossed trained in the receptionist position to help facilitate patient flow and accessibility. The clinical manager will be a clinical staff member who will report to Sterling Medical's CEO.
