Cancer Care Northwest is searching for a highly qualified Registered Nurse to manage patients that have consented to participate in a clinical trial. This nurse will collaborate with physicians in determining eligibility of patients for clinical trials and follow the patients during their treatment on the trial as well as ongoing follow up per protocol; provide education to staff and patients regarding specific clinical trials as well as ongoing education on potential side effects and their management; and ensure site research quality by practicing in compliance with Cancer Care Northwest Research (CCNWR) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The research department works as a collaborative team discussing procedures, new trial participation and other department decisions. This nurse must support and adhere to the Cancer Care Northwest Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Research is on the leading edge of new treatments creating opportunities for patient treatment beyond care. QUALIFICATIONS an Associate degree in a clinical or scientific related discipline current licensure as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse in state of practice a minimum of one year of experience in a clinic setting current BLCS or ACLS certification for nurses It is preferred an individual have: a Bachelor's degree previous oncology experience SoCRA or ACRP certification preferred Benefit information and eligibility can be found at https://www.cancercarenorthwest.com/join-our-team/ Job Posted by ApplicantPro
