Position Overview The Clinical Educator provides leadership in the backssment of learning needs, and in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of educational programs for staff. The educator acts as a role model and change agent. Experience Experience in program planning, development and evaluation preferred. Demonstrated clinical expertise with a minimum of 4 years recent PACU and/or acute surgical nursing experience required. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or related undergraduate degree required. Master’s degree in Nursing or related discipline preferred. Certificate in adult education preferred. Cardiac monitor training is required. Current Instructor in BLS and ACLS is required. Certification/Licensure/Registration Current registration with CRNM. Appropriate C. N. A. Certification (or equivalent), for program area preferred. Active participation in professional associations e. g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred. Qualifications and Skills Knowledge (this may include but not be limited to): Demonstrate progressive levels of responsibilities and leadership skills required.
